Terms of Service

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and for ensuring that members of your organization comply with these Terms.

StellarCapture provides tools to capture voice notes, photos, and form data in the field, transcribe and structure that content using automated processing, and review and export the resulting records. We may update, improve, or modify the Services over time. Automated extraction is provided to assist your team and should be reviewed by a person before being relied upon for compliance or claims purposes.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload content you do not have the right to capture, store, or share.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or other accounts.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Services or interfere with their operation.
• Upload malware or use the Services to transmit harmful or unlawful material.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis according to the plan you select, priced per user. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes take effect at the start of your next billing period. Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time and take effect at the end of the current billing period.

As between you and StellarCapture, you retain all rights to the content your team captures and uploads (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services. We do not claim ownership of your Customer Data.

The Services, including all software, design, and content we provide (excluding Customer Data), are owned by StellarCapture and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that automated transcription or field extraction will be error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StellarCapture will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that could cause harm or legal liability. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends, and you may request an export of your Customer Data within a reasonable period.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which StellarCapture is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
